Sri Lankan experts generate colt using Artificial Insemination



A new species of colt has generated using artificial insemination by Mr Palitha Samarakoon, a veteran animal controller and former Mahaveli Authority Executive at Pallekelee, Kandy, Sri Lanka.

A farm where was in the United States had taken horse sperm from an Arabian-originated male horse was born to a high pedigree had been inseminated to a New Zealand mare.

After the 12 months of pregnancy, the colt has born and now for three days ago. The colt is called 'Samantha' is well behaved with its health. said Mr Samarakoon.
